From a Single Furnace to Punjab's Trusted Foundry
Foundation Years
Al Rehman Foundry was established with a single furnace, a small but skilled workforce, and one clear goal — to produce cast iron components that Pakistani industries could genuinely rely on. Operations began from our Haroonabad facility on Dahranwala Road.
Early Growth
As demand grew from agricultural and industrial clients across Punjab, we expanded our casting capabilities to include steel castings, pump components, and custom industrial parts — building a reputation for dimensional accuracy and consistent quality.
Infrastructure Milestone
Al Rehman Foundry secured its first large-scale municipal contracts, supplying certified cast iron manhole covers and infrastructure components to urban development projects across Punjab — marking our entry into public infrastructure manufacturing.

In our most defining operational shift, Al Rehman Foundry transitioned to 100% solar energy — eliminating fossil fuel dependency from our production process and becoming one of Pakistan's first carbon-free foundry facilities.

Pattern Making
Every casting begins with a precise pattern — crafted to exact client specifications and engineered to account for metal shrinkage, draft angles, and dimensional tolerances during the solidification process.
Mould Preparation
Our skilled moulders prepare sand moulds using high-quality moulding sand mixtures, ensuring the cavity perfectly replicates the desired component shape with clean, smooth internal surfaces for superior finish quality.
Metal Melting
Cast iron and steel are melted in our controlled furnace environment at precise temperatures — powered entirely by our solar energy facility to ensure a clean, carbon-free melting process with minimal emissions.
Pouring
Molten metal is poured into prepared moulds with precise timing and flow control. Our experienced foundry team manages this critical stage under strict safety protocols — ensuring workers are fully protected and pour quality is consistent.
Finishing & Fettling
Once solidified and cooled, castings are removed, cleaned, and finished — removing excess metal, smoothing surfaces, and preparing each component to meet client dimensional and aesthetic requirements.
Quality Inspection & Dispatch
Every finished casting undergoes multi-point quality inspection including dimensional checks, surface evaluation, and load-bearing tests before approval for dispatch — because nothing leaves our foundry without passing our standards.
